AUTOMATIC S-FLOW VISCOSITY SYSTEMS
The Automatic S-Flow Viscosity System offers easy and rapid results. The top of the line instrument combines two independently operated thermostatic baths, which can run at temperatures between 20 and 110 degrees Celsius. When operating at 40 and 100 degrees Celsius, the system automatically calculates the samples viscosity index, based on the results from the two baths. By its compact design, it only requires a fraction of the space normally required by two viscosity systems. Naturally it maintains all of the advantages of other Omnitek products, including, small sample sizes, fast results and low solvent consumption.
As with all systems, there is no need for an external PC, saving even more costly lab space. All functionality such as measuring, cleaning and VI calculation is done by the system itself. Of course, optional PC software is available for data acquisition and storage, statistical calculations and quick configuration of the system parameters. It is compliant with or exceeding the requirements of ASTM D445 and D446.
