What once began with the patent on the pH electrode, has grown into an extensive range of products including several hundred electrodes designed to meet standard- and special applications. Our name stands for quality: For decades, SCHOTT Instruments has set standards in the field of electrodes. The new standard in meters has been named the Lab series. Focused on functionality and optimized for precision, the Lab series offers everything a user needs - from routine measurements to applications with special demands on reliability and measuring accuracy.

These instruments incorporate all functions necessary to comply with legal standards and regulations, notably a user identification (electronic signature according to 21 CFR, part 11) allowing to assign a user name to each measured value. The automatic identification and definite allocation of electrodes to individual users by the locally shielded transponder technology avoids any error-prone inputs via keypad and is the basis for the high reliability of the system.
