Method of operation
In the grinding chamber of the cutting mill, four knives rotate against three stationary knives in the cutting action to reduce the sample. The material remains in the grinding chamber until the desired final particle size is achieved and the continuous flow of air carries it through the mesh of the interchangeable sieve insert into the collecting vessel.

Equipment
The Cutting Mill pulverisette 15 is equipped with a 3.5 litres collecting vessel, but without sieve insert. Sieve inserts are available with different trapezoidal and square holes and must be ordered as accessories. If a collecting vessel 30 litres is desired instead of 3.5 litres, so it is possible to deliver the Cutting Mill with a 30 litres collecting vessel. This must be note accordingly on the order.
